PM Mitsotakis meets with European Investment Bank chief Hoyer in Athens

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met on Wednesday with visiting President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Werner Hoyer, at the Maximos Mansion. 

Mitsotakis said that Greece “is at the right place to succeed” in what he called “a burst of investments.” He also noted the funding EIB is contributing to the new development model of the Public Power Corporation.

Hoyer congratulated the premier on the “tremendous progress under your leadership” and said EIB was “very proud to be part of ‘Greece 2.0’,” the country’s development plan. 

Present at their meeting were ministers of Finance and Development & Investments, as well as EIB’s vice-president and the European Investment Fund chief executive.
